Job Description

Summary

CHENEGA BASE & LOGISITICS SERVICES, LLC.

Concord, CA

 

The GCSS Army Clerk is responsible for collecting, editing, and submitting maintenance data.


Responsibilities

  • Involved in planning, coordination, and scheduling of the maintenance workflow between various repair shops to ensure timely completion of repairs on supported equipment.
  • Perform duties in accordance with DA Pam 750-8.
  • Responsible for maintaining notifications and work orders IAW GCSS-A EUM (End User Manual).
  • Responsible for maintaining records of services performed IAW GCSS-A EUM.
  • Responsible for maintaining records or ordering and managing repair parts IAW GCSS-A EUM.  
  • Responsible for maintaining records of dispatching vehicles and equipment IAW GCSS-A EUM.
  • Maintain the shop stock and turn-ins of unserviceable repair parts IAW GCSS-A EUM.
  • Responsible for issuing material to work orders IAW GCSS-A EUM.
  • Responsible for returning any recoverable/reparable material to stock IAW GCSS-A EUM.
  • Responsible for entering time confirmations for a work order IAW GCSS-A EUM.
  • Responsible for performing the work order completion process IAW GCSS-A EUM.
  • Responsible for updating the operational status for a piece of equipment IAW GCSS-A EUM.
  • Required to gain access to GCSS-A, IGC, Fed Mall, LIW, and WEBVLIPs for parts and document research.
  • Organize all completed source documents and attachments to filing site.
  • Generate picking tickets, DA Form 3161, and other accountability documentation as directed.
  • Perform routine work including work from various standardized source which have been coded (requires little or no selecting).
  • Code and interpret data to be entered.
  • Conduct and participate in scheduled, unscheduled inventories and surveys.
  • Produce daily and weekly transaction reports and prepare forms as required.
  • May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or GED.
  • Minimum two (2) years of military or civilian experience in production control functions preferred.
  • Minimum two years (2) of experience in GCSS-Army.
  • Certificate from the Plant Maintenance 40hr course or GCSS-Army Training and Certification System (GTRAC).

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of automated data systems and automated data system input preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Estimated Salary/Wage

Up to USD $33.35/Hr.
